EARLY LEARNING
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
-
Early childhood educators and kindergartens teachers are the heart and soul of our children’s first formal learning experiences.
Integral to their social, emotional wellbeing and development of identity, the early childhood environment often provides varied, wonderous experiences where children are able to explore a range of sensory environments.
For many neurodivergent children, the way they access the kinder environment may differ from their typical peers and we know that we need to be providing the appropriate supports to children from the very beginning of their learning journey.
We equip early educators to better understand neurodivergent children, and give them the skills and strategies to provide a neuro-affirming environment where all children can thrive.
Learn about neuro-affiming language and the affirming paradigm shift, gain a deeper understanding of neurodivergent behaviour, explore PDA and RSD supports and gain the skills to support sensory preferences, transitions and cross neurotype communication.

INCURSIONS
-
We offer interactive incursions for preschool aged children focusing on celebrating our different and amazing brains!
Incursions are presented in a fun, age appropriate way where we learn about the neurodiversity of our world, and how we all learn, play and communicate differently.
Through discussion and hands-on activities, children will be supported to develop positive identity, explore the power of differences and discover how our friends all play and communicate differently.
Let’s empower children to champion inclusion!
Our presenters are teachers or allied health professionals who are also raising neurodivergent children. Incursions link to outcomes 1-5 of the Early Years Learning Framework.
